A fantastic excursion starts from “Il Ghiro” and get to Rossola Mount, in just over an hour.

10 minutes of walk through the olive groves of Lavaggiorosso, 10 minutes of ascent through the chestnut woods, and here you reach the Passo del Colletto, on the ridge that divides the valley of Levanto from the lands of Bonassola.

And from there, following the path 665, a beautiful hike of about 3 km between the Mediterranean wild shrubs, up to the summit of Rossola Mount, which dominates from above Levanto and Bonassola.
With its 559 meters, the Rossola Mountain offers an enchanting view to the South-West – to the right Bonassola, the villages of Framura and the tips of the Levante Riviera to the promontory of Portofino – on the left the Gulf of Levanto and then the unique profile of the Cinque Terre – all immersed in the scent of wild thyme.

And after taking your time to enjoy the immense of Rossola’s Cross, downhill towards the beach, for a refreshing swim in the blue of the Bonassola bay.
